About Mark Anderson

Mark is a 1979 Mechanical Engineering graduate from North Dakota State University in Fargo. He has had a variety of engineering experiences, most of them in the controls and human interface end of machine design. He worked for several years for the Sperry Corp, designing farm machinery, releasing to production some of the first microprocessor based electronics used on farm machinery. Mark shifted gears, and was responsible for introducing to the computer chip builders of the world a new family of robotic machines used to build computer chips. Mark has been at Toro for over a dozen years, responsible for Research and Development in the Commercial Division of Toro. He works on machines that will hopefully be in production within 2 to 10 years.
