Keynote Speaker, Day #1 -
Greg Mason, General Manager of Products and Training,
Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp.:
"How Innovation and Technology Can Profit the Environment without Impacting Profitability
"

How does technology improve the impact forklift trucks have on the environment? And how much will it cost to change? This presentation will examine that developing existing technologies can mean less resources invested and greater return. It will examine how LPG trucks can be replaced by electric trucks, without loss to productivity or profitability, benefiting the environment, company employees and the bottom line simultaneously.

It will detail how electric technology can be improved to reduce the impact we have on the environment. Longer run times, greater performance characteristics, longer service intervals all lessen the impact on the environment now, without changing the existing infrastructure. In addition, it will cover how innovative technology such as AC power and RFID can help the production process become more efficient.

Overall, it seeks to dispel the myth that it costs a company to run greener.
