Ted Yeigh, Director of Sales and Marketing,
Columbia Machine, Palletizer Division:
"IUV Interface with Pallet Transfer Technology"

There is an ever increasing demand for safe and efficient handling solutions for palletized loads.  This presentation will focus on the different methods for transferring loads from one type of load base to another and the challenges that IUVs and their operators face with the various technologies available.  The presentation will cover receiving and shipping applications and the impact that different pallet types, slip sheets, ISPM 15, 3 PLs and customer preferences place on IUVs. Manual, Semi Automatic and Automatic solutions will be covered; the common thread though all of the methods include the interface at some point with an IUV.
